Deez is a TVC coaching studio dedicated to equipping beginner commercial talent, as well as working artists who may be struggling, with the professional skills and practical tools needed to confidently book roles. Our focus is on developing assured, well-prepared new faces in the TV commercial industry through immersive, hands-on learning in a realistic casting environment.
Every workshop accommodates only a handful of artists for personalized guidance and detailed feedback, and ample individual attention. Participants are given the time and space to grow comfortable both in front of the camera and in front of their peers, helping them prepare for real group castings where multiple artists often audition for the same role in the same room.
Many performers already have the look and spark needed to succeed, though what they often lack is the technique and confidence to navigate the industry like seasoned pros. That’s exactly what we’re here to build.

Amy Dirks

Represented by ERM, one of South Africa's leading and most exclusive Actors and Talent Management Agencies for over 25 years. Amy started her TVC career back in 2016 and later gained viral popularity on TikTok for her comedic skits. She has gone on to star in her first film in 2024 and has found great success as an engaging and hearty social media content creator.

Boasting almost a decade of commercial experience, she's had the incredible opportunity to work with major brands such as Dell Technologies, Hyundai, Coca-Cola, Huggies, Hollywood Bets, Heineken, and so many more. Each role has pushed her to grow, adapt, and bring something unique to the table, making her a versatile performer.
Now, she is sharing everything she has learned to help YOU kickstart and grow your own successful career in TV commercials. The tools and tips she'll be sharing are the same ones that have helped her navigate the industry with confidence.

Can I attend the workshop if I'm not signed to an agency?
Absolutely! In fact, the workshop equips you with everything you need to know as a fresh face in the industry. You'll be able to walk out of the workshop, into an agency and confidently into your first casting.
Does DEEZ offer artist representation?

No, we do not offer representation because we are not a talent agency. We simply prepare you to represent your agency as a professional and skilled artist.
Is there an age limit on the workshops?

The workshop is ideal for ages 18-35 years old. However, we cater for up to 65 years old.
